Claire showing off her 5lb bream on the the first evening of the Wedneday evening matches in 2008.
The Carp members are having some entertaining night fishing with some good specimens being caught.
Steve, the Club Secretary, was taking a day off work on 1st May to do a little spot of bream fishing.
Specimen shown was just tipping the 5.5lb.
Snowy had to help Steve lift out his keep net with over 100lb of Bream in the net.
Steve commented "it was the best days fishing" in the 25years of his membership."The fishing is just getting better every season".
A newly joined member "kev" and a member for a number of years "Pat" fishing Drummer Boy Lake.
Pat introduce Kev to the club after kev had given the lake a try a couple of weeks before.
Both were enjoying the delights of the Sunday morning sunshine whilst the working party were making lots of noise to disrupt them.
However: Not the case.
Kev was bagging the bream as you can see. Over a period of about 3 hours his patience proved successful as he was catching bream like the one in the photo more or less every put in.
So well done Kev. A Nice start !
